My prediction after seeing the huge hiring of young, entry level kids, they will clean house of older more experienced employees in the name of cost cutting .... Cheap, easily manipulated labor .... And yes, i do work at Melbourne, for obvious reasons I can't say where, but it's at a level that can make a prediction like this, God help us all .... Insider tip, watch out for Ann Marie Murphy, she is scoping out people to axe

Yes, it will be a big one.

The key here is to plan for a new job but work to get the severance. Have your new job ready and hope to get laid off.

If you do not get laid off, you may wait until after the layoffs and then quit.

Remember, they do not give 2 weeks' notice when they lay you off. You are not obligated to give them 2 weeks' notice when you quit.
