Well it’s official Lumen has fallen for the contractor vs employee trap. It won’t be long until all CO and Gateways are completely unusable. They leave trash, remove fibers and just otherwise do not care. This is a bad idea.

@17r That's the plan. Lumen has already entered their "shut it down and sell it for scrap mode". Workload daily is purposely thin.
The FF37 guys forgot the part where 20 plus years gets ya a $9600 buyout. No right of successorship means they'll sell the whole thing and you'll take a pay cut with the new company. Or see ya!
@re
Exactly what is going to happen. No contract, fill in the 2 year gap with "employees" then lay them all off. Not ATT ilec areas so no ATT employees. Come on back as a contractor or move a couple states away to join the big company.
@g1
Maybe 20 plus years ago. The new union is punks and wannabes who become stewards to cover their own inept as--s and theyre desperate to get the union back before they get canned.
@es
So youre saying forged fiber doesnt work on in or around lumen facilities m-oron?
@11z you just zip it and continue believing what you're told to believe.
Wait until T starts buying F1 fibers from the lowest bidder. There goes the only work there is right now
Talk about brainwashed, both sides are the problem. It's all theater! Keep the minions squabbling and pointing the finger.
I think they meant the far left media.
@10f This is how I know yall are brainwashed. Yall just deep-throat whatever comes out of far-right media.
@ys yep! 17 genders, free stuff for the no effort crowd and open up those borders!
CWA on the front lines of the sh!tshow.
@y1 So they will be promoting positive things? Good.
@w1 got to keep those dues coming in so CWA can spend it protesting Trump,ICE and their DEI garbage
District 7 is already bargaining a contract and the company is pushing back hard. Bargaining updates are on the district 7 site.
They are still members and paying cash dues.
So many ignorant people, there will be union, it won't be a great contract but the union will get your dues.
@re FF37 guys are basically contractors now. Don't fool yourself thinking they are in a hurry to have a contract. You already have nearly Lumen wages and possibly better benefits, who is walking out to the picket line over the rest?
@nt When the two year “support” deal with Lumen is up, they will just bankrupt FF37. Same as they did with Tilson. Then find some other company that will do the work for nothing. Why do you think that they didn’t roll those employees directly into AT&T?
@nt Eh, at least the area near me; they are getting a contract negotiated. Whether or not it will be a GOOD contract is another story.
All those fellers that went to FF37 thinking a contract was in the works were mistaken. T is going to drag it out like all the others. Build it out quickly, T needs subscribers, not employees
@c9 forged fiber is going union so you are wrong. Good employees stay bad employees go, what a concept.
@c9 I mention Lumen, nobody cares about forged fiber
Everyone that went to forged fiber is a contractor now.
You might be ones who might be coming back as a contractor.
Saw some in our CO today.
