Frank was in Kansas at his Alma mater to receive an award and the Governor was there and asked him why he hadn't put jobs in Kansas. He on the spot committed to the Governor to do so / and then jammed Mike with it. Sad no one including the CHRO or the CAO had the guts to say no to Frank over his lousy idea.

@eg that sounds like a believable rumor. And the its very interesting he hated Omaha too. I was wondering what was meant by "corporate relocation" headlined around the time of that Overland Park Kansas announcement. I thought it was 2,000 new hires but didn't realize it was really them shutting operations down in Omaha because of that grudge. That actually makes a lot of sense now.
Sounds like the rumor that a bank CEO visited an office, saw a bunch of empty cubes, and joked to Frank, "Where is everybody?" And that one comment is why everyone needs to work out of the office.
I can’t find anything other than yes- it’s going forward on Google search. Who has actual evidence it’s not? By the way, the move was all FB. It was his personal vendetta against Omaha. He wanted to close Omaha down since his first day on the job when he arrived there and no one cared. The limo driver took him to the wrong building. When they finally got to the correct building the security guard had no heads up he was coming. Made him show ID and have someone come sign him in. He spoke of this several times. I guess he expected to be treated like royalty and when he wasn’t he fumed. Carried that grudge with him.
No not happening
Takis has been asked about this in THs and strongly hinted it’s not moving forward.
No, KC is not happening
Pretty sure everyone here knows how to google search articles, more curious to see when/ why/ how that helps us in the future from new leadership.
