Does anyone have credible intelligence about when the next round of layoffs will begin and what the target groups are likely to be?

It’s an ongoing thing. They want folks to leave to avoid severance payments.
In case you have not noticed, "work force reduction" is a continuous process at OTEX, and most of it is not officially a layoff to avoid severance, notices, news, etc.
OTEX forces people out with poor treatment, or bogus "for cause" reasons.
Why ? There's not much you can do about it.
There's a wave set for October.
