Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Are you staying if your VSP date is well into next year?

I'm assuming their goal with that was to get people to quit on their own, so I'm just wondering if it worked on anybody.

My date is 12/11, since I was planning on retiring at the end of the year I can stick it out.

Someone on my team vsp date is December 2027 and she was told if she leaves prior to that, she will not receive severance package. She’s been here for a while so it’s a pretty penny that she doesn’t want to give up.

My VSP date is in 2027, no way I am going to make it! I will give 2 weeks notice and hope they ask me to leave the same day.

I have August 2027 and plan to try and stick it out. I keep telling myself 1YEAR! Get me thru the holidays and get myself in a better place financially so 1YEAR I can do it I hope.

Im curious for this who are not waiting and planning on quitting- are you giving 2 weeks notice, 1 week, no notice? At this point does it really matter about giving an appropriate notice? I'm about ready to just walk, so fed up.....

I am not. My date is December 2026. I’m leaving on 9/4/26 as I planned when I accepted the VSP.
