Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

I think they reducing all software, cloud OCI, helath,SaaS everything. They are short of money to payoff the debts for OpenAi data centers.

Performance obligations are not real revenue or cash. It's future commitments, if there is no enough staff to do the performance obligations Oracle is basically f.

FWIW the data centers are financed with bonds. Interest is paid regularly, but not the capital borrowed, which isn't due for many years.

Oracle's CDS is way too high.
I think everyone knows that the debt situation is pretty serious, though.

They will have to cut the headcount deep to save the data centre deal. Customer will leave Oracle due to poor customer service and delays.
