@gr West is subjective… Could be west of the East Coast, Midwest, and yes it is cheaper. West like California, nope it is not. I’m betting the Midwest.

If you’ve been WFH for 12 years, how do you expect to walk into a hospital job?

@OP I am part of the Class of September 4th...My decision was an easy one I have been with the company for 12 years and have seen WellCare go from a very cool little rebel of a company to a big bloated fortune 25 entity, while this has been great for my stock (When it dipped to 23 I went all in with everything, a fortune 25 is too big to fail so I bet on that and came out pretty good) I am also a Registered Nurse and jobs are very easy to come by so when the offering of 26 weeks pay with a bonus was thrown at me the money did not talk it Screamed! The job has gotten predictable and extremely tedious, after 12 years of work from home I find myself eager to interact with real people again. I for one am going to take the money and run out west where land is cheap and I can just finish my final years working at some small regional Hospital. I hope everyone who has chose this path nothing but the best of luck, AI Is going to gut the insurance industry...this is just progress and it su-ks for the non-clinical folks who I am hoping will weather this change well.

LHH seminar directed me to HR w/questions. Person I wrote replied they can't help me as they have no info??!!? Her title is literally Severance Partner!! Called number she directed me to - held for 20 mins and then was promptly disconnected.

• The following day after your separation date, you will receive an email to log into the VSP website where
you will find the General Release Agreement for your consideration and this Benefits Guide.
• You have 45 days to consider and sign the General Release Agreement after you receive the documents.
If you choose to sign the General Release Agreement, you will electronically sign the agreement directly
within the VSP website. There is a seven-day revocation period after you sign and return your agreement.
If you sign the agreement and do not revoke it within the seven-day period, you will receive the benefits
described in the General Release Agreement.
• Once the revocation period has ended, severance information will be sent to the payroll team for
processing and payment will be made within the next two regularly scheduled pay dates. Severance will
be paid to the direct deposit account(s) on file in myPay as of your separation date. Direct deposit
information cannot be changed after your separation date. If there is no direct deposit information in
myPay, a paper check will be issued and mailed to the address listed in Workday.

I feel you, and am in a similar boat. Almost 13 years, and although I love my direct reports, the leadership has me on the run. It's scary. Plus, has anyone been told when we will actually see our severance pay?

No updates at all! good luck trying to get in touch with HR. The phone line provided for handling vSP calls indicates that the representatives are currently in a meeting and are unable to answer calls. There doesn’t appear to be another clear point of contact or any additional information available at this time, which makes it extremely frustrating for employees who are simply trying to get answers or clarification regarding their situation.

9/4 date here. No information after the acceptance email. I have sent a request for more information on the last day, paperwork that needs to be signed, payment, etc. I also feel conflicted. Felt I had no choice but to take VSP. I hate this after 13 hard working years at Centene.

Make sure you vsp separation date wasnt for 2027
