This place taught me that couldn't be further from the truth. I have been a high performer, always available, never complaining, and yet I got miserable raises and no promotion. Elevance is the one that did everything wrong and accepting that has been so liberating. That was confirmed to me when my manager panicked when I told him I was leaving. They even wanted to counter the offer I got. Too little too late.

Leaving was the best thing I have ever done. I was working 100+ hours a week and getting paid for 40 hours. I was worn and had that helpless feeling. Now I am so much better. I can actually sleep. I have my weekends, evenings and holidays back. I do miss my friends but I try to stay in contact….
I dealt with this same thing in my previous position. My manager dangled the carrot in front of me for years, setting impossible goals for me knowing I wouldn't be able to achieve them but getting tons of extra work in the process. About 4 years of this and I started applying for other internal positions. Now making far more than I ever would have in the other position, even with promotions. When my manager was notified she asked why I decided to leave, to which I simply replied "because Ill have better opportunities than I ever could have in (my current circumstances).
The only seniority recognized here is less raises. it’s truly pathetic there is nothing, absolutely nothing to encourage people that know their jobs well, are dependable, and productive to stay…..
