Oxy has always been great with revitalizing old onshore oil assets. Offshore may be a different story though.
It makes the most sense for the assets and for OXY. CVX has been very successful in the GoA. They have the technical skills/people needed to progress the aging assets.
The woodlands office will be closed anyways
This rumor has surfaced before. You should discount it until more direct information is known. Assuming the rumor is true would the Woodlands office be closed?
