Thread regarding SAP layoffs

There have been at least four reviews of Gina Vargiu-Breuer's conduct since she joined in 2024

“SAP treats all misconduct allegations with the utmost seriousness and is committed to handling them through rigorous, fair, and thorough review processes,” the company, the supervisory board and Vargiu-Breuer said in an email. There was “no evidence of misconduct” by Vargiu-Breuer, according to the statement. “The Supervisory Board carefully considered all relevant information, including critical feedback, and decided to extend Gina Vargiu-Breuer’s contract based on a comprehensive assessment of her performance, leadership, and contribution to SAP’s transformation.”

She is a member of the board. As long as there is no proof, we have to trust her.

@nh the acquisition was not but making the alien people leads development managers certainly was. Now we have managers who do not understand a word about development coaching us on how to create architecture documents. And Europeans are not allowed to become managers because Torsten Zube loves his people leads so much. We should have just laid off most of Signavio after the acquisition.

@nh yes. It brought in too many migrants and SAP WDF and ROT taking over the entire management hasn't helped get rid of them. We have to wait for AfD to come into power.

Rumour has it that she’s under investigation again- something about fashion crimes.

@a5 “ Several members of SAP’s supervisory board voted to renew Vargiu-Breuer’s contract in part because she is the only woman on the six-person management board, some of the people said. “We do not comment on rumors or speculation,” SAP said. The supervisory body monitors the executive board and appoints its members. ”

There’s no smoke without fire! It would be intriguing to delve deeper into the details of this allegation. If the internal investigation clears her, it’s likely not a serious matter.
