Well, maybe if we only sold chicken sandwiches instead of everything under the sun, especially things were not skilled to even do, that strategy could work very well.
All depends. Some AD/DRs could have large numbers as you mention given many network managers and techs while others may have L2s reporting and less. Typically an DR will have no less than 8-10 and AD 10-14. Some internal announcements show ADs with 8 but rest assured the recent cuts and realignments are just temporary until the larger efforts take place by end of year.
I’m not one of those levels, but I do know so many of them already have more people than they know what to do with. Given the current org sizes 20-50+ sometime of the ADs and D’s with 100+ those folks would be VPs or higher at any other company. The flat orgs is why we have no upward mobility.
