@13p they don’t even have work. They actually just hang out and chit chat about it the glory days of General Motors while sitting in the EY office…

Oh wait, all 10 of those losers are already cut off from EY. They were only subcontractors through EY just to get EY into the Chevron account.

Right now, they are literally getting paid a ton of money for doing nothing. 2 of those guys are brothers who were a part of a failed startup. None of these people actually have the skills to do what they were assigned to do for this EPMO.

And now that the SOW is done, who knows what each of these individuals are even doing for KG. There’s also a reason why LC doesn’t even introduce these 10 losers to his ITLT+1. Because they would be exposed immediately as being incompetent for the job and only hired into Chevron because they’re close friends over 2-3 decades of following one another. Some of these people are actually family members.

This is not the Chevron it used to be.

holy crud! 100% confirmed, contractors who were EY are now Vendorpass. unbelievable!!! Do as i say, not as I do.....

@hb I’m pretty annoyed that every group in IT can only use low cost contractors offshore, while LC gets to retain his 10+ friends at a US rate even though they’re all just doing CS EPMO stuff

IT can’t even do the basics right. Got sent a new laptop. Could not set it up without going to the IT help desk because it wouldn’t turn on.

@hb selected 'friends' were pass through to EY via 1099. Hopefully ES stays on this bone and looks for the 'new' accounts. Its whack a mole till then.

Meanwhile CVX resources are cut so we can pay them and pay for awards through subscriptions we dont use.

MW and RB don’t care. If it’s not illegal and just unethical, they’re cool with it.
But to what end? Chevron has a joke of a CIO and we keep feeding him instead of cutting bait.

IT is currently run by a dictator who does not care at all about performance or reliability. The cost cutting is just the deal he made with the ELT. He has the ability to do whatever he wants to do.

He is laying off loyal Chevron employees and bringing in his old friends from General Motors. They were first disguised as E&Y consultants. As soon as ELPT and ES actually doing the right thing and ki-led that contract, LC proceeded to move all of his friends into KG’s org under independent consultants, where the overhead is low and the overall take home pay for his buddies are great. He is making all other IT delivery teams offshore all of their work to ENGINE, and proceeds to bring only his friends in at outrageous rates under KG.

ES can ki-l the consultant project work - finally, it was about time. But under a staff augmentation construct, the numerous people continue to su-k the lifeline out of IT.

Even E&Y has distanced themselves from LC and his friends. If you take the timeline of all of these events, it is just disgusting what has happened. They all happened to just join EY after getting laid off by GM. And now that the EY contract has ended, they’re now all independent contractors serving LC under his other friend KG.

Chevron is unrecognizable. Maybe JR the CISO started investigating his own boss and got fired as a way of LC shutting him up.

It’s because Cyber doesn’t own anything. They inform what policies or guardrails other groups should follow. Therefore, if issues arise in those groups, it’s their fault not cyber.

Hence our laptops are dog cr-p because WE is being ran out of Engine and are installing everything they can get their hands on.

Because we lost our CISO yet again, and the top thing cyber knows to do is not actually take a risk based approach to mitigate anything. They’ll just take away all laptops next.
