I work with GCC tech in India. Bunch of rookies. Can’t get out of their way and work at snails pace. So WHY am I hearing about Sept tech layoffs in US?

@pt Severance policy is posted on The Hub. For exempt level 31-33 Max is 12 weeks (2 weeks per year completed). For level 34-37 Max is 16 weeks per. Levels 38-40 Max out at 20 weeks but they get 3 weeks per year completed
@pt I was laid off back in May and my severance was 20 weeks. I am guessing that takes into consideration tenure and grade.
Can anyone tell me about the severance package usually given?
The post is about SDS (IT) layoffs due to the GCC India costs yet once again others are making it about sales teams?
