@cx incorrect. they get listed when the people affected are notified. They get around pre-notification by keeping you on the books during the required period. NJ is 90 days most other places are 60 days.
TLDR - Warn Notices are late indicators not early
if you're looking for a hint, then Goole "New Jersey WARN list database". It lists all notices of upcoming RIFts in BR and other NJ sites if the impacted employee HC is >100. It's a good indicator of what's coming your way. BTW, I volunteered to be RIFTed last December, I don't regret it at all!
9/24 would make sense if they wanted to get rid of a handful of people before stock together is issued OCT 1st
