Some people have heard that these layoffs will continue all week, while others are hearing it will be fully finalised by COB today. Thoughts?

@OP not done by a long shot. They started Ireland with 29 today, however they informed the Govt, that means minimum of 30 in a 30 day period. India had I think around 300 today, not sure about the US, but some where impacted already. I imagine all this week and maybe beginning of next week as well. The few numbers today is pocket change in savings.
@a7 Individual contributors (devs, analysts, scientists, etc.), basically anyone that contributes via individual work time instead of taking meetings

i saw ICs getting let go today
Also the change freeze expires around midnight ET.
IDK everyone I know who was affected was an IC...so I'm not sure this tracks.
From what I heard today finalizes mainly the middle managers mainly. The next few days will be those under the middle managers.
