Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Even Fortune magazine knows Stankey’s “culture” is BS

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/general/business-has-lost-the-trust-of-a-generation-i-hear-about-it-at-my-dinner-table/ar-AA2bgHZp?ocid=BingNewsSerp

Pretty straightforward chronicle of how Stankey and his fellow RTOstans are creating the very Gen Z and Gen Alpha attitudes they constantly whine about. I sure as he-l know that I wouldn’t tell my kid to go for a corporate job after my experience in this world.

Some light reading…

AT&T CEO John Stankey received a total compensation package of approximately $29.9 million for the fiscal year, which was 215 times the median employee's pay of $139,026.

The article is correct. The blowback when this crumbles is going to be fierce. Btw I’m a conservative and I don’t buy the bs being sold. I’ve got two eyes and can see the truth. The people at the top are cutting their own throats and are blind to what is coming their way. It’s not that people don’t want to work, don’t want to make their way, there just isn’t a way any longer.

You just don't get it .... You haven't been paying attention ... You haven't learned anything Stew, ANYTHING ... Stankey made it crystal clear. He does not want a work force ! He wants people who will work for two years and move on while he pushes out his older skilled workers. The key to what he said is he wants a DISPOSABLE workforce , two years and move on. HE SAID IT, where you listening. Why do you think we got this influx of flip flop , ice-cream social happy workers that will be shipped off at Tom Holman's earliest convenience ? How more disposable can you get ? Im sure this was all part of the plan.

The quiet part being said out loud, corporate greed, the decimation of good paying white collar jobs, but it is all the employees fault. They’re not “productive” nor are they engaged… spare us the obnoxious corporate spin.

The negative trickle down economics are just starting to rear their ugly head, and will only get worse. These tech CEO’s are in for a very rude awakening when discretionary income vanishes.
