This is the tip of the iceberg.

Based on Slack numbers we're down like 450 or something actives, beginning with around 26,000-something.

I guess maybe the 20% is over the course of a couple years but IDK

Bear in mind that they have transitioned some CS folks that were employed under PayPal and gave the option to lose their position or to be employer through an outsourcing company. This will technically count as employees laid off.

Lots of folks posting about being impacted are still active... so Slack deactivations are certainly not finalized yet for most that I've seen

I think right now is 500 people for this round. The number will match so 500 people every quarter for the next 2 to 3 years as equivalent to 4000 people. 20%
