Even if they layoff 15% of the company 85% will still have jobs. The big problem is that they keep doing it. If the end state is to be under 90K as someone posted earlier than this will happen 3-4 more times by 2028.

@a8 There was 141K at the end of the last fiscal year. I doubt the company will collapse with 1000 less people.

Additionally to my previous post on being put to the streets. Start doing espionage and get ready to work for competing start ups. That is the only way you can challenge large companies now sadly. Build a better lighter weight green product with AI.
I think it escalates as the models improve. Astra is coming out soon. Who knows what 10x improvements 1-2 years will bring to GPT. My guess is whoever is in the click for running the business decisions is what will remain for the most part. Most software developers and QA are gunna be put on the streets sadly. This is definitely going to happen.
