The fact we have leaders still pretending to have "open forums" for questions is ludicrous. Before questions are submitted in advance, leaders already have topics they refuse to address. And it's normally all the ones they know people are concerned about.
Even when Corporate Communications or someone in their circle pushed them to at least address real issues or gives them talking points on thorny topics - the leaders say "no.".
Unless you see a real employee actually ask the question, everything else that gets asked or presented as a question, is fabricated in advance. "We received several questions about what your summer vacations plans are" or "what's in your streaming/Spotify playlist".
It's all theater and worst of all, pointless give is all the time back and stop the performative "I'm a leader who cares and listens" act .
