Inclusion
The company literally has a campaign- complete with posters and name tags- that say “be here now”. perhaps the writing has always been on the wall. David Craig is as much a laughable CEO as he is effective. A company that’s more concerned with... — read more

Many will be back as Contractors
Here's my positive spin... I've seen it way too many times at TR, there is a hit and some additional attrition that follows. Things slow down and pick up again - then people start coming back as contractors. The severance payout may be (and likely... — read more

Reminder: you lost your job, but your skills are still there
I know all of us, who got hit by layoffs look at that as a big personal failure and a turn for the worse. Of course, that situation generates feelings of fear, despair, anger, or disbelief, but when the feelings settle and you get to see a more clear... — read more

Layoffs/Redundancy Criteria?
Anybody knows how GE determines who'll be laid off? Anyone from HR here? What specific criteria is used for deriving decisions? I'm going to assume that age or pay are taken into account? But wouldn't that trigger possible age discrimination suits?
