I keep reading that on 5/17 all store GM's are gone or 1/3rd of store GM's are gone, etc... etc... Anyone care to take an educated guess at the number of jobs Verizon will shed in this latest go round? Maybe 3000?

Stores without GMs will not be backfilled. 1 in 3 GMs will be laid off so roughly 33 percent of GMs but NOT all.
