The welcome letter stated that the vesting starts from the next month after the hiring month. There is quarterly vesting and one is coming on December 15. Will our first vest date be on December 15?

People who got offers are only for transition, once done they all laid off in March

‘‘Day 1’ - approx 25-30% layoffs ‘Day 2’ (April/May 2024) - approx 10-15% layoffs (most of these will be transitional roles) ‘Day 3’ (12-18 months after close) approx another 10-15% layoffs

I know nothing will change drastically right away, but I still feel like there's an iron ball in my stomach.

Seems the employee benefits in Broadcom is quite worse compared to VMware and other US vendors. Should I consider to decline the offer even I receive the offer letter?

Currently I'm running Ubuntu 23.04LTS on my work laptop, what's the chance that BC will force me to reinstall windows?
