Hey all, looking to possibly move to the overseas site in the UK. Does Cigna allow for international transfers?
Lateral move
Would you leave MA org for a different company if it was a lateral move?
HCSC PTO & Benefits

Employee Satisfaction Survery
What happened to the ESS this year and last year? Earlier our managers used to say it's so important for the company, analyzing the results and so on. Even DC said it's extremely important for him. Absolute silence for the past two years.
Joan Harvey and Dave Smith.
Joan Harvey and Dave Smith announced their retirement today, and it’s not even 3 months since it was announced they were accepting the leadership positions in Evicore. What is up with that? It feels like there is more to this.
Future Outlook @ Cigna
How are people feeling about the future outlook of Cigna? I am looking to leave, but people keep encouraging me to just look elsewhere in the company and leave my department. I don't see that things are much better in other areas. A majority of... — read more
Medicare GAD be covering things up
They be doin funny things.
Medicare employees
How many Medicare employees are applying to other positions? I, myself, feel so torn between leaving and staying. I wish we had the guarantee in writing if we were to stay and move with HCSC.
What is Crowdstrike?
ESI employee here. Just saw Crowdstrike was added to my WFH device as of today. What exactly is it because Google results don't tell me a lot and manager is just saying "oh it's just an IT security thing!"
3/23 Layoffs
I am seeing 345 people let go on 3/23 (Terminated with pay). Anyone know of anyone who was impacted? Looks like evernorth lost 50 people (probably most a department lost).
Moving on
This is more of a venting post, but I’m confident someone on here can relate. When I began my role less than a year ago, the job wasn’t perfect but it was tolerable. As time went on, and more specifically, once the new year began, it’s almost as if... — read more
AI usage
There was a recent discussion of change in the process for how client cases are being closed that is rather questionable. Prior to my leaving Cigna, staff had been educated that they would soon begin sending cases to an AI for review prior to... — read more

For folks that are 50% wfh, 50% return to office, are they looking at days you swipe in or hours you spend in the office?
Could I swipe in 3x a week, spend a couple hours in office, leave and go home to work?

Can you receive unemployment after layoffs?
Has everyone laid off been able to receive unemployment benefits through your state? Or why is that denied?
Verint Agent - any non contact center employees have this downloaded on their computer?
I do not work for the contact center area but noticed that Verint was downloaded to my computer. I googled it and its a monitoring app but it doesn't have to be used for that. Does any one know how Cigna plans on using the Verint applications?
More layoffs?
There was a comment in one of the post that said 3/14 was the next possible date? Anybody with any updates? Thoughts on who will be impacted if true?

Return to office??
Has there been any more talk of having more people go into the offices???
Anyone else having to document all of your work and processes WAYYYY more recently?
It's kind of getting out of hand in my role (development). Seems like every breath I take and like of code I write requires me to fill out a form. It's definitely a red flag when documenting my work now takes as much time as my actual job. I guess... — read more
Job search
It looks like the job market is not as bad as many people keep saying. Most of the people who were laid off from my group have managed to land something new already - and it hasn't been that long. I don't know if this is true for everybody, but I... — read more

The culture has changed so much in the last 2 years
I was fortunate enough to get a package after 20 years. The culture has changed so much in the last 2 years - and not in a good way. They are bringing in young blood to manage areas that they have no clue about. Then add the fact that Cigna alters... — read more

More planned layoffs? I have an empty calendar!
Curious if anyone has any visibility into what’s ahead. I pretty much have no work to do and my calendar is about 90% clear. For this extremely meeting heavy culture, I find that odd and wondering what might be coming.
How many employees do you personally know that where laid off?
I know of 13 by name (people I worked with). I know of 7 more people that I never worked with, but heard from other employees that a JE occurred. I want to hear from you, From 2023 until now, if you had to give a number... how many employees do you... — read more

Best decision I ever made was leaving Cigna

Make sure to leave a Glassdoor review

3/1 Medicare org changes and promotions !
