My advice to anyone on a PIP - use the time to begin your job search. Dell has no loyalty to you or anyone and doing the right thing, but coming up short, will do you no good.

We somehow got used that Dell is quarterly oriented firm, and to see many of our colleagues lose their jobs, usually by the end of fiscal year, but waiting for reductions this year is almost unbearable. This merger uncertainty is taking too long.

Dell Software had a BIG reduction on Thursday in USA - EMEA and Apj to follow. Former Quest was really hard hit. John Swainson has driven this thing into a ditch but showed not contrition whatsoever.
