MLK is now a holiday at SS&C in 2021. It’s a holiday except for the back office support people. Dang I knew it was too good to be true. 2022 MLK will not be a holiday.

One would think, in this difficult time, that a new job might surely be in order. There are so many opportunities out there. I heard the massive lay-off is hitting Health Solutions end of September. I’m extremely glad I made the move.

SS&C has practically dissolved this company. Not much left no clients, no employees, no service, no one left to take care of the handful of clients trying to hang on.

SS&C has run us into the ground. I have heard of a number of clients terminating due to issues. One client account I work on is First Carolinacare. They are leaving and it is sad seeing they have been a DST client for many years

The account base of this company has gone down and down as well as the number of high tech employees. All that is left at this company now is old technology with people with old technology knowledge to support it.

So impressed with this company since we all had to move working from home. They have handled it very well. I don't think big, bloated DST would have been nearly as ready.

Is SS&C working with staff and employees during this hard time or being the normal non caring business machine ?

We signed a contract with these people to migrate our system. After signing the agreement, we were advised the people that were going to migrate our system were laid off. They have yet to deliver on the agreement or provide people to do the work.
