Outsourcing should be illegal
Or let me rephrase that. If jobs can be filled by American workers, then those jobs should not be outsourceable. Period. Laying off hard-working Americans to send those jobs overseas is unconscionable and should be completely taken off the table as a... — read more
Has the Help Desk been Laid Off?
Does anyone know if HMS Legacy Help Desk workers were laid off recently? Extremely long wait times well over an hour and most times they don’t pick up the phone or respond to tickets. You can absolutely forget getting any help on a Monday. The HD... — read more

Heavy layoffs the final week of March
The biggest push for layoffs will be this final week of March. Departments have delayed identifying employees to be laid off. The deadline is the end of March. Be prepared for heavy layoffs over the next week. Good luck to all.

Town Hall ?
I've never experienced anything like this. This is my 3rd town hall at the company with this CEO, and I don't recall any of them including a Q& A with employees. Is this the norm here? Mark and co. spend the entire call talking about how great the... — read more
Is Gainwell winning new work?
If the company is failing to win new work I’m surprised the Chief Growth Officer and the BD/Proposals department are still in tact. Actually, last year and into this year I know many tenured proposal professionals were laid off while others fled the... — read more
Layoffs are not done
I thought yesterday was it, but now I'm reading about more people being let go today. Does anybody know if it will be over today or will this be a week-long thing?
VP resigns to protect her team
VP was asked to provide a list of employees to cut for end of month lay-offs and told her boss she's done. This will be a big loss to Gainwell and an amazing gesture by one of the few "leaders" that remained.
Recruiting for Gainwell India
A post on LinkedIn from a "Director - AI/ML" stating "Come join our India team. We're looking for talent at all levels." Another post from a "Product Manager" in India: "We have multiple job openings: If you are passionate about Data, Data Quality... — read more

There will be additional March layoffs along with the elimination of the ROC team by 3/31. Exact volume is being determined currently. But it is estimated to be at least 250.

1/31 401k contribution
Anyone else have their 1/31 401k contribution taken out of their paycheck but never submitted to Fidelity? Is this a sign?
What if the survey is just another way to thin the herd?
Especially two questions in particular..,
Any word on 401k Match
Why must we wait so long to get our 401k match? Things aren’t looking promising and I want it all before I leave.
Upcoming Major restructuring in Mar/April
It will be top-down changes. Heard that ~2 out of every 10 mgmt employees within delivery, product/engg will be asked to take up individual contributor roles (good for them) and ~2 of the remaining mgmt will be considered for WFR. Note: GW is very... — read more
WFR for January
Are the WFRs still occurring or done for the week? I’m not hearing of anyone where I work, but they usually tell us. Sadly, I have to get my info from this site.
GainHELL??? Sound off!
Have you all come to the fact that it will not get better anytime soon? Our systems fail often, the Help Desk doesn’t seem to want to help anyone and will tell you whatever just to get you off of the phone. They can be really rude! So outsourcing... — read more
I'll believe it when I see it
I'm too tired to get myself worked up over layoffs that may or may not happen next month. If we get official word, that's another thing. But right now, all of this is still just speculation.

Gainwell has built their business model to have mass layoffs on a regular basis
I get trying to stay positive. However Gainwell has built their business model to have mass layoffs on a regular basis. It is a way of doing business for them. Notice that they never talk about it. No mention of it in any meeting unless someone... — read more

Town Hall
The CEO said the work force reductions were done so we could be "fit for growth." He then said "the fit for growth activities will continue." We should all connect the dots there.

Would anyone mind if your colleague who has the same job title of Senior Business Analyst graduated HS in 2018 making them WAYYY younger than even 30? What would be your train of thought on this...?
