The Trust and Culture Have Been Lost

The culture at HP has taken a troubling turn, resembling a top-down leadership style that's stifling collaboration and innovation. Take a look at Enterprise Operations and the environment Ernest is cultivating. He and his direct reports operate from... — read more

Should CREWS be laid off?

This is a genuine question but what do they actually do outside of organize useless events and waste company money? We’re all on pins and needles hoping our boss doesn’t schedule a surprise 1 on 1, but they’re out there frolicking in the grass hiding... — read more

CW Furloughs 2025

When are the extra furloughs coming? I could really use a vacation.

Rancho Bernardo Closure

I'm now hearing that HP is closing its Rancho Bernardo office now, instead of in October as previously planned-and is simultaneously laying off any employees who refuse to relocate to the company's other office in the Bay Area. Can anyone confirm?

HP AEM today

That was a load of cr-p. Enrique avoided as much as possible the WFR topic, his answer being so ambiguous. These 2000 extra people to be fired are on top of the original number from 3 years ago, but he tried to hide behind it. And the cr-p with "it's... — read more

Apologies For The CREWS AEM Call Last Week

I would like to begin by expressing my sincere apologies for the lack of professionalism shown to DS on his final day at the office. The overall tone of the interaction was disappointing, and I was personally disheartened by the lack of respect shown... — read more

Proud HP Employee

In light of all the negativity around here I would like to stand out as an employee who is grateful for being a CW on the software enginering/web development team. I've been here for almost five years now and I never have to worry about being laid... — read more

Current metrics-look at the sustainability report

Check what we have shared publicly the 2023 sustainability report...the next one should be published this year. Until this gets updated I'd say these are the goals and have been the goals for a few years. All to enable more equitable outcomes... — read more

What Are Our DEI Metrics Now?

I have a few questions I hope you can help clarify: Could someone please provide an update on whether we currently have any DEI metrics, and if so, what they are? Can someone clarify what the current definition of a "diversity employee" is?... — read more

Ernest F2F - Tuesday, February 18

I spoke with my boss last night, and they mentioned that the atmosphere was very uncomfortable. Ernest's leadership style isn’t working. According to them, everyone was just nodding along, agreeing that things were moving in the right direction and... — read more

Any Updates On Boise?

Getting really concerned that Boise is the next to go after SD closes this year. Anyone know what's going there? Perhaps I missed an announcement about the Boise campus.

Censorship

All the good posts on here get deleted. There was a good one about how racist Ernest is but now it’s gone. I think we should all make a discord or skype group to talk and assimilate in a more efficient way. Anonymous, of course.

Layoffs mean no opportunity for promotion

With HP laying off and eliminating managers, directors and senior directors positions, what opportunity is there for growth? Only way to get promoted is if someone leaves. Not much of an incentive to stick around.

January 2025 Layoffs

I am hearing chatter of many people getting laid off today. What is everyone else hearing? Looks like supply chain got hit pretty hard.

Does anyone enjoy working here?

I am genuinely curious. This is a mid tech company at best, seems like we get shafted on bonus and merit increases. What’s everyone else’s opinion? Consumers don’t even think about HP.

Next VIA survey

My boss somehow knew it's me who left answers?? Surveys in companies often seem biased due to poor question design, limited answer options, fear of repercussions, management influence, sampling bias, cultural pressures, or selective data... — read more

Some Reading employees, including myself, are now required to come to the office. Does this apply globally, or is it just here?
