More layoffs in May

More layoffs in May. Of course they might be April or June. Lenovo will cut / lay-off / adjust their way to success. Remember US employees are paid far too much. Darn those employees. Would be so much more successful with just some executives and... — read more

Question to the US employees left at Lenovo...

Why are you staying? It was a sweatshop that payed me well below what I was worth, I happily gave my notice and found something better. Just curious what reasons you have.

Surprise?

This is not a big surprise to me. After seeing how Lenovo had treated their employees while working there, they are quick to lay off half of DCG and soon will be tackling the contractors next. A lot of this maybe from their tariffs they got hit that... — read more

18 yrs and done

DCG, contractor, finally the stress/overwork will be done. Two week notice at least.

Got the axe

DCG. Have been with company 14 months. Last day 30 days from now. Severance 6 weeks pay, 3 months medical.

I hate the wait

Nothing here so far, but I think I'd prefer it if it was already done with - whatever my fate might be. Waiting and stressing is completely useless, and in many ways worse than knowing the truth, even if the news are not good. At least then those of... — read more

Lenovo is done for and those jobs are not coming back

I heard that the people that were let go last year only got 6 month of paid cobra benefits. Half of what they provided to employees, if people decided to take the voluntary package. To the people that still employed by Lenovo. Look for another job... — read more
