I want to work at Oracle as my dad worked there until the mid-2000s. Dad says it's an awesome place with awesome tech talent so I was hoping to get a job there.

This is why execs act like callous jerks and ghouls right after a layoff in their organizations. They want people to quit. Low morale saves the company money when the goal is to downsize.

About 10-15 people laid off this past week in the GBUs, that brings the total since 6/1-2016 to 24,866. With MH gone and OOW over, changes may well be in the making. Job market still going strong, don’t slack off, keep looking.
