Will there be more today?

Do we know? I'm not looking forward to going into work today. So many different rumors of more layoffs have made me even more nervous than I usually am - if that's even possible at this point. I'm really starting to think that something other than... — read more

LOL all the way....

This is just brilliant. Had to put this at the top of a thread: "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" "If a cloud fails and nobody is using it, is there actually downtime?" Post ID: @ZnXa1hs-pqh

Where's the beef?

Like I said, no massive layoffs. mostly sales refresh; something that happens yearly. Sure, a few here and there as expected .... but no beef. Certainly not 10% or 10k heads. So what new date(s) are you tinfoil hats predicting now? I need to pencil... — read more

Oci culture and values

Recently spoke to a hiring manager in oci. He highlighted how oci is different from rest of oracle and highlighted ‘oci values’ (which he said unique to oci). But, what I read from here looks different. Can some comment on culture and work at oci. Is... — read more

There is no massive layoff coming

The tinfoil hat brigade is in full affect due to some 'vibes.' Most likely a reorg. Some trimming due to this shuffling. That's it. It's expected since TK left only a few months ago. It's a delayed trickle down affect. But for every rustle in the... — read more

Was Oracle removed from layoff for a short time today?

I was getting errors that Oracle did not exist on the server and it was not even listed when searching from the home page. I was getting paranoid the Oracle shut things down. Oracle probably did force a shut down but forced layoff.com to restart but... — read more

Here we are no massive layoffs- typical from the dead weight employees who were fired for great cause or disgruntled

oci chaos

RIFs, PIPs, and demotions coming to an oci team near you. Gonna be a busy month of June. Business schools take notice. There is a great opportunity for a case study on how to destroy an organization.

Moving to the Cloud

This is what happens when you move to the cloud! You move from a OTC revenue recognition to a monthly revenue recognition. THIS completely changes how you go to market. IBM is stumbling it’s way thru this, and Oracle is now starting to stumble thru... — read more

Mandatory all hands meeting tomorrow

The probem is at the very top

And I don't mean the 3 stooges. There a lot of negative comments throughout this forum regarding the 3 stooges and I do not disagree with any of them. But in a "normal" corporate structure it's the Board of Directors that is ultimately responsible... — read more
