So I heard a rumor that Oracle has k--led VSM, but I see no mention of it anywhere. Likewise T1000D drives. Are the SL8500 and SL4000 libraries dead? Or is the business being sold? Don't the cloud guys use tape - maybe they use IBM tape?

Today i have learned that oracle have laid off approx 100 people in different cloud segment in India , including support , plateform development and others.

Just curious, maybe not much since a huge government deal like that might not be forecasted?

As the weekend approaches , I get more and more worried about the layoffs that could come. So I ask, has anyone heard anything in store for the Oracle workers next week? I guess i would feel a little better if no rumors are present.
