Trouble ahead for Oracle

Honestly, I'm surprised there are no more analysts saying this, considering how obvious it is. "Cloud stocks have been riding high the last few months, but one trader is betting that the run could be coming to an end for one name in particular:... — read more

TK is gone

Don’t know if he was fired, forced to resign, or found a better gig. Hearing from multiple sources that he’s out. Good riddance.

Oracle doesn't have a Cloud at all

For quite a while, Oracle's playbook has been about being a slow follower until a market is proven out and then making acquisitions of key companies to capture marketshare and to establish a presence. For example, buying PeopleSoft or Siebel made... — read more

Apparently we are second among tech companies with oldest workforce. I'm honestly not sure how this is possible, considering that most people laid off are those with most years with Oracle, meaning the oldest ones. However, according to this chart... — read more

New here

Been catching up on posts and was curious if those "Unofficial official layoff reports" were credible? They seem like a great resource, so I really hope they are legit.

Oracle cloud- big bet or big bs?

Oracle has been s---ing up (hiring) so many cloud devs, and paying thrn so well, that something really seems wrong. I heard they have like 3 DCs, are not growing, and in fact are falling further behind. There is no way to justify the amount of hiring... — read more

The big one predicted for August 31 will now happen in late October. More information to follow. But this will be the last big layoff because it will affect all departments and levels and will result in a major transformation of the company.
