With mass layoffs in US, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, and elsewhere, the question arises whether the sinking Titanic will manage to stay afloat. All international operations are currently halted. Without vision and without progress... "Cu è surdu, orbu e taci, campa cent'anni 'n paci"

Starting under Calhoun, Nielsen's discount Temu leaders were convinced Europe was where all the growth was and the USA market was yesterday's spoiled dinner. The message was convincingly sent when hiring Europeans and they came into the fold believing it.
It's what happens when business administrators takeover companies without understanding or caring about the products or customers.
@1av is not wrong! I remember how these Europeans suddenly came to this company and hijacked our projects and institutional knowledge thinking they could do better or something and ignoring the plain truth that they were just cheaper. It's funny seeing now they find themselves being displaced by even cheaper workforce!
An Indian enters the room... quietly leaves... :)
When current employees start tearing each other apart due to the location they are based in, you know the company culture is in a complete mess.
@qd Nobody said it's all about the Americans but the Americans thought we were in this together and apparently the Europeans think differently, so yeah, go fu-k yourself and good luck in your job search!
@1a2
That's where the revenue comes from.
@qd aye, because it's all about the Americans....
"Haven't you heard we just bought a billion dollars company!?"
It will be worth half that in no time. Have faith in Karthik Rao, we have all seen what he can do!
@qd And that was not long ago. Within a year.
I guess fate is a bi--h! I remember how all these Europeans didn't raise their voice when Americans were being fired left and right, I'm glad it is now their time and I think they deserve it!
There is no plan for international business, mainly European markets, they don't want it, but since it still generate some cash, they will keep it until the contracts end or they will open IPO before that. The revenue is nothing compared to U.S. so it is basically THE sandbox of minions based in India until Danger Day
So, are we now completing the move to India? Will Europe fall just as the US did?
@aa yes Nielsen is the Titanic and all clients, users and HH currently on board with have same fate!
@a3 LOL!! That's just more debt!!! Also, I remember when Nielsen bought lots of European companies prior to rolling out ITAM throughout Europe.
And now.....They are shutting it all down!! Money down the drain!!
NIELSEN IS THE TITANIC!!!
Yes, it will stay afloat!
Haven't you heard we just bought a billion dollars company!?
