@1bx Also possibly the international are not counted here - not sure what was the impacted to LatAm and Europe? What about at the company they acquired at FL coast last year for Aero?

@1bw I feel the 330 is only from Maryland. There are also folks from Utah, California and remote who were laid off

So the larger number that was initially reported last Friday was inflated and it’s really only 330 or are they fudging the numbers? I have never witnessed such a cluster at this company. 10 AM Monday ought to be very interesting.

@1ba the Sept 22 warn notice is for the Friday layoff on 7/24. Companies will pay 2 month severance and end your employment immediately but your effective last date will be 60 days from the day of layoff. This is how companies get away with mass layoffs without filing Warn notices in advance.

@1b9 arent those the ones that were already let on last Friday? Or did the last week's layoffs didn't require WARN and the Maryland warn notices for 09/22 are for an additional 330?

Apparently another 330 layoffs due on the 22nd of September in one news article. First 100 in December 540 last week now 330 in September... What a harsh reality for all of us. wonder what this talk next week will tell us aside from the usual jargon

@10p and the sad irony is that the C-level people resigned or were shown the door.

Did it also impact DISD or they were kept safe as they work on ov contracts?

I see a lot of people have discovered this page and that makes me happy, but I also see many are dropping names of low level folks and that's not allowed. If new here, please read the rules (there aren't many, no politics, racisms, no names unless it's the C-suite, stuff like that) to make sure our threads don't get nuked by the mods.
