Overheard a call last Friday between some high-level Cards managers and one of them said that the Meridian, ID CSC near Boise was probably not going to renew their lease when it comes due in 2027, moving all of those roles who work there to Sioux Falls, SD. I know they closed Roy, UT last year but they let everyone become WFH, not relocated or terminated. Anyone with better intel? I have a good friend who is a c14 there and he knows nothing about any plans to leave.

@OP I am a HOP employee and was just on the quarterly meeting run by the Boise site president. At the end there was a slido Q&A with exactly the question about the lease ending in 2027. He skipped right over it to the next question. That tells you a lot.
@1jk - Word on the Street is San Antonio is going away entirely in the next year. it used to be a sprawling three building site with all the amenities and its down to a few hundred people in two buildings.
Boise & Florence are on the chopping block next it seems. They basically only want Offshore, Jacksonville, San Antonio, Tucson, & Johnson City for ops.
Why don't you just ask the site head at the next "Town Hall"? Right after the glowing financials and "rah-rah" speech about how well everyone is doing.
I was part of rif in January of primarily Boise risk agents and I heard the same thing about office lease not renewing. I was rated a 2 across the board as a wfh agent, and was blindsided on zoom call.
My partner works at the meridian site. Manager told her that leadership is coming down on everyone for not coming in enough. It was the first topic of their team meeting last week. Partner said manager sounded scared. If there are not enough people in seats, then maybe they will close it??
You have to be on certain visas to work in the major corporations. If you are a Citizen, apply for Denaturalization and find an employer like Wipro, TCS etc, to enter the client places.
