@3zv Maybe they should scale back huge bonuses and apply the money to the debt.

The people there who deserve their bonus are the ones keeping this debt pig from toppling over. They issue 5 to 7 million new shares per year for bonuses and ESPP thus diluting shareholder value. Debt of ~$6.5B with a market cap around 9. All the while they successfully blow smoke up the b*tts of analysts. Earnings never ever go positive unless there is some legal windfall. What interest rate will they have to pay in April when $600M is due. This thing stinks.

Had to look it up. $4M. A year or two of that and you're set.

@1nz Yes - so mine is a No for the Executive Compensation vote. Listening to Dankberg on the quarterly results conference call, the analysts actually sounded more coherent than he did. Ridiculous. And why is Chandran getting his eye-watering package as well? Replace him with an AI chatbot - it would be both smarter and also have more charisma.

I’m fortunately out of the company as having a useless set of ‘friends-of-GC’ as pretend Engineering leaders was the last straw for me. However…my thoughts are with anyone that is or will be impacted by a RIF. It is a tough market but remember there is still a need for real talent be it in the US, UK or anywhere else for that matter. Also remember that useless leaders like GC and his people will get axed at some point too. Karma cares not for your position or pay grade.

MD...Total estimated compensation for fiscal 2026 was $14,208,178, representing an increase of about 44.5% compared to the previous year ($7,882,902). Think about that when you get your 3%.

"Minimize the indirect people", thanks, Craig. Love that we get the looming cloud of layoffs while you and Mark D get to make stupid jokes.

Based on yesterday's reported "earnings" results, Viasat will certainly have to take some actions. For those of you who think you will be affected, start looking now. It is a tough job market out there.

All I've heard is basically AI is gonna start replacing folks and any other work will be consolidated into smaller teams, so keep an eye on who starts dropping like flies over the next two months
