Nothing else. Just good old greed. When will they figure out that if you put profit above everything, you destroy the company? Then there's no profit for anybody.

@2cw They're going to lay people off on 9/11?
Heard from a friend at another site that 9/11 is the date. I'd start looking if you got a 1 or 2 on the performance review. Not that there's no other reasons to look right now. The whole company is a sh-tshow, everything execs are doing right now are publicity stunt & cutting CapEx to boost their stock price even further so they can cash out and leave (looking at you, Ahmed). Seriously have doubts whether any of the execs truly care about more than 1~2 years from now.
