The company is squeezing everywhere it can to pump more money into Health 100.

Any cut is going to be streamlining things so that funds can go to Health 100. There is a massive investment going on there. We will see if those jobs stay here in the USA or end up in Belfast / Bangalore.

Between lack of retail, Medicare reimbursement rates, the inflation reduction act expiring, and the use of AI to modernize , you can bet on it especially if you are high in the tiers.

I was told the next round is in November. I believe it, since our stock is dropping due to concerns our management expressed about 2027 results during the last investor call. We won't need as many people if we're not making as much money as we'd like.

Cuts across all VPs gonna come one way shape or form, some might manage it via attrition tho

@2f9 no use in just saying it, do post the department so that it is useful to others. just giving random information is no use

My department "let go" a lot of people today, but here is the messed-up part. They were "let go" and they are still working. They were told when their last day is, but no one else outside of leadership was told. It was based on performance. I was not told how many people were let go, but I get the feeling it was quite a few. Leadership has known "awhile" and were told this morning to let those affected know. Once they were all alerted the Sups were allowed to tell everyone else. Even though I did not lose my job, I'm very upset for the others.

The only place left to cut and acheive savings in Exec Dir through middle VP Levels.

Unfortunately or fortunately, salary tiering does not account for actual roles and what people do and it should.

Workday added a field to mid year reviews to flag people at risk of being a “low performer” (or less than “successful performance”) , take that for what you will….

With AI changes are on the way.
POS MOD upgrades going on now.
The existing phone system will be upgraded/replaced, less of a hardware footprint in stores.
You're going to see some form of AI in stores that the customers will have to interact with.
The CVS Field Technicians are going to have plenty of work, but the support groups they rely on are going to take a hit.
Management in the department has gotten extremely quiet end of 2025 into 2026.
Response when asked if the department will be around in 2 - 3 yrs "taking it one day at a time".
Been here 30yrs, never heard those words before.

@OP I am sure there will be some based on company’s push on AI aka business needs. But I guess it will not be anything like few years ago when our stock prices dropped to $50s. Our stock prices are in the $90 to $100 range.
