Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

So long, IGS!

Wish the IGS boys and girls luck at AIP .. hopefully Trew can get the company back in shape after the big H destroyed it.

I can only imagine the horror in the new leadership's faces when they finally get an unfiltered view underneath the hood-- Chad and Girish were probably smart to stay behind.

Chihuahua was super expensive site, makes no sense to close it after they paid for it.

30 hour tasks / jobs have ballooned to 200-300 hours under Honeywell, and things still fail.

I expect substantial retooling of Operations, stronger onboarding, a significantly higher bar of competency, and a strong reduction in mid-level bureaucracy.

And the closure of CHI, as has been obvious since the day they opened that train wreck.

Have you seen townhall yesterday?

Lets tell almost nothing except introducing leaders. Transnorm being more independent. Sites all around the world unecessary. Back to office at least 4+1. USA centric.

More questions? Oh no, not going to answer.

HR leader lady who confuses Honeywell - Industrial Automation (IA) with Artifficial Intelligence (AI) and talks some word salat as a bonus.

Well, I guess it's time for me to sign off of this board. I hope that my former Intelligrated comrades do well in this new alignment with Trew. I have high hopes for the future of the Alvey Palletizers and conveyors and the fine people that developed them over the past decades that I've worked with them.

Hopefully, Honeywell hasn't ki-led another 120 plus year old company?

See you all in the next life!

Now they are busy replacing all the he-l leaders by Trew leaders.

Once they will get better picture, they'll start the cleaning.

I can't imagine Intelligrated keeping Fireside Chad. To me he always looks and sounds like he's in over his head.

New management team will do great job as indeed they actually understand project business. New president comes from project side and having to work with him before he gets big picture vs individual metrics that got us in trouble. Also look forward to work again with experienced engineers that are US based. HGR business model has cost this company a lot. Do agree that there will be many surprises under the hood. But first step is to simplify day to day activities so some of us can actually do something vs having more useless meetings and filling cr-p out.

@b4 indeed, TREW leadership team is much more experiences in warehouse business. That was obvious there will be no place for Chad and Girish

@aj many of us tried to find a job in different honeywell units but it was not allowed as we were "ringfenced" .....

No travel in August…This is not a test. This is your emergency broadcast system announcing the commencement of the Annual Purge sanctioned by the U.S Government. We-pons of class 4 and lower have been authorized for use during the Purge. All other we-pons are restricted. Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed. Commencing at the siren, any and all crime, including mu---r, will be legal for 12 continuous hours. Police, fire, and emergency medical services will be unavailable until tomorrow morning, until 7 a.m., when the Purge concludes. Blessed by our New Founding Fathers and America, a nation reborn. May God be with you all.

Question is what will happen with few sites outside of US.

Also Transnorm is even keeping @transnorm in emails while rest of company is @intelligrated..

@OP how again Girish manages to jump back and forth, when for others we have ring-fence?
Don't tell me his Indian buddies?
