Well, their plan is working. Over the last month two of my most talented colleagues have left for other firms. As predicted by every study, the forced attrition is working through departures of the most talented. The only folks being left behind are those that cannot leave, the CVX cultists, and the unhireable (which we have so so so many of). It’s like watching a company rot before your very eyes…

I am surprised at all the negatives ratings. It must be she or bots down voting comments.
Do not underestimate how management is using retaliation and harassment to force attrition as well.
I heard of 2 more employees leaving. One is someone I considered on management track and very well regarded. The other is someone I never thought would leave CVX. Guess folks have finally had enough.
You meant the strongest bootlickers, bud.
Only the strong survive

The goal is lower cost of employees by hiring the replacements in India. Even the MSP contracts that are being signed charge American prices for India labor and the profits are collected by Accenture, LTI, E&Y, WiPro, HCL, Etc.
Chevron lowered the number of employees and are paying american prices for replacements in India. :)
If they didn’t leave they would be out the door with everyone else. This is a sinking ship. The talented will move on. The company will get what they asked for.
And look you are still there. Which one are you?
