I’m really surprised that no media outlet is reporting on the shady business of the SCORE “outage” and how dell tries to avoid paying its employees the commission due yet the leadership gets their big paycheck without a problem while normal people have their commissions on hold because Dell can’t calculate their Q2 revenue!

If a Dell Customer managed their systems transition as badly as Dell itself has, they'd send employees in to fix it and tell them what to do. How does Dell expect customers to trust Dell's advice when Dell itself can't even get its act together?

When the crowds jump the gated community fences and we just sit and watch on MSNBC eating popcorn, they'll finally figure it out. Same as end of 1700s in France and early 1900s in Russia.
@OP If an employer misses payroll because of its own negligence (for example, failing to maintain critical systems or backups), it is likely violating state wage payment laws. Employees are typically entitled to unpaid wages, penalties, interest, or other remedies.
Call Federal and State Labor Commissions. That should get Dell's attention.
@an Paying employees in a timely manner is a basic tenant of business. Employees will tolerate many things, such as broken tools and poor reporting, but payroll is something any employee will have limited patience for.
Bad enough people haven't been paid commission but employees don't even have visibility for backlog or clear timelines for a fix is unacceptable.

Dell should legally be required to pay interest for every day they're late with pay. That's how our corrupt IRS works.
@an lol what’s your salary? Because I know the ones in the toughest spots and their base is unlivable. Accepted a job with a livable base to be forced to go rate card and drop to $41k or less. No grown adult can live off of that.
@an And it’s Dell’s responsibility to make sure their systems work before they implement them. They could have waited another Q, but someone high up decided it was worth it more to turn it on than to pay us correctly.
Dell owes me, and I assume many others, a lot of money in commission. Some of us had plans for that money that we now have to change. Maybe that was a vacation or a new car that now we would be paying extra interest on that we weren’t expecting. Is Dell paying us interest for the money they owe us and told us they would pay us in our compensation documents? Hint: NO, well that is how the rest of the world works when someone owes them money.
@an Nope. Dell could have kept the old system running before they were sure the new ones are ready. They chose to burn old bridges down while new are only getting their foundations built. Left with no cross reference, they messed up the processes big time companywide. Despite that we delivered, overachieved, have often already planned the big paycheck into our plans and now we get to wait 3 months to see if they get it right.
Sure might not be a problem for billionaires or executives who get a 130 million windfall, but sure is a big thing for the average Joe
You guys are weird. Dell is on a transition with the systems and because of that there are issues.
They pay your commission upon a certain % and when all is live again you will get the remaining of your commission. Whey crying…Dell is paying you well enough to not to be in a need to get 100% of your commisions on time…otherwise you are just not managing your financials well…
Imagine the 5th richest person on Earth can't pay his employees and has to offload the mess his very own company caused onto their paychecks. Not even asking for some windwall from the huge profits this company is making.
And the world keeps wondering why people can't afford anything right now.
