Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Stock Dip Is Noise

Hey, just some anonymous employee still here at Teradata dropping this on the DL.

Stock dip today? Whatever, man. We beat the numbers with Q2 revenue at $410 million and adjusted EPS of $0.69, both above estimates, plus we raised full-year EPS guidance to $2.65 to $2.73. Share price closed at $26.23 after dropping from $34.39 but is still nowhere near the bottom. Market just freaked out over careful Q3 talk. Classic drama, nothing real.

Layoffs? Good riddance. Half those people were straight-up coasting, half-assing everything and collecting a paycheck for basically existing. Cutting the lazy ones was long overdue. Now the rest of us can actually get sh-t done

On another note, the ELT is ki-ling it, making the hard calls and keeping us focused. That’s the actual win.

Since he was named CEO, the leprechaun has sold 70,000 shares. He has purchased 0. That tells you all you need to know.

Why is anyone paying attention to this no-talent drone? Just ignore his blathering. He is a tiny worthless cog in a broken machine.

What are you actually getting done? Customers don't actually want anything we have built or are building. It shows up every single quarter in the results.

Nice try, troll. Engagement bait. No one working at TD believe this.

The “ki-ling it” ELT is already setting up Q3 as a loser. I want what OP is smoking.

'Whatever, man' is right. 'Careful Q3 talk'? LOL, right. EPS is only looking as good as it does due to the relentless job RIF's quarter after quarter and that is and has been drying up. Letting good talent go and replacing with cheap labor coupled with negative growth in a booming market is all you need to know. I do agree with the comment that ELT is ki-ling it, just not in the same way you do.

Super-engineer, you poor sod. In a market that is seeing double-digit growth , Teradata is losing revenue. Turn the lights off if you’re the last to get the boot.

@OP Sure dude. Is this satire?

Revenue flat or declining while Snowflake (+29%) and Databricks (+65%) have continued revenue growth.

Let us know when SM decides to spend his own $$$ and buy some TDC.
