The true poison of the company is Jon Crybaby. Always been toxic and always will be.

Saw someone get "promoted" on LinkedIn from Product Manager to Technical Product Manager lol. Probably with minimal salary changes to keep morale up at this point

@dn Good point. I hear Srini is changing his title from CEO to HIIC to avoid confusion.

Promotions don’t exist at this company for 99% of employees. If you want one it has to come in the form of applying for a new position. Total BS behavior

No, what is happening is titles are changing and people are updating their titles and LinkedIn is announcing it as a “promotion”. It’s not at all.

This year Many teams were forced to relocate to one of the HQs. And if you couldn’t relocate, severance. Hence opening that role for someone to promote into.

Not that I've seen, other than director+ promotions. Most people are moving to other open roles to get the "promotion"

@OP Was fun to see on Katz's Goodbye on linked in there were comments such as:

"Mike glad you are pleased. My experience with TMobile has been frustrating after 6 support calls and a new Gateway. Hope they have it fixed now but the frequent little spinning circle on my screen and loss of wi-fi have not been pleasant"

Other comments by US Cellular customers, Customers whose bills have doubled and tripled under Katz's increasing price schemes, customers with billing issues,

@OP They are always doing this kind of behavior. They are also filling the company with young, new hires who have no perspective on the shameful things they have done in the past, and as a means of driving out older, more experienced and critical employees.

They’ve continued to promote during various years of layoffs. Must be their way of trying to maintain morale.
Remember this company is in the black and has been but laying people off as if it’s about to go bankrupt. When att almost bought T-Mobile we all recognized the company wasn’t doing well and accepted it for the most part. This is just blatant greed on full display.
