Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Is it finally over?

No more layoffs for at least a while?

With Medicare Sales being heavily impacted by the RIF, it will have a domino effect. December/January is when most companies start recruiting if you're worried about the next wave.

There are two more rounds after today from what I've heard. Supposedly end of 2026 and beginning of 2027. Good luck.

@OP MSM is saying 3% will be laid off with an Oct 2 start date with Dec 8 being the last day - I don’t feel like they are done

@ay You're correct! Especially since Medicare Sales got RIF'd.

Today should be the last day of this round. The next round is anticipated to be either prior to the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period or after (before Christmas)

Hope this helps!

@OP Wishful thinking, this is our new normal. They will re-org and realize they are resource heavy in some areas and will RIF again, but they will have to plus up in other areas. This is corporate America in 2026, not Centene specific.
