I got the emails yesterday to confirm all of my personal information, emergency contacts and mailing address. I know they do this here and there, but it also seems like they have done this right before a big cut.
I have no basis for this - just my gut. I guess we'll see what happens. Either way, at least it'll be done and I can stop worrying - 15 years of this garbage and I've had enough.
I thought the same when I got the emails to update everything. Been here 20 years and this years layoff seasons have been the worse. I am not even on the minimum for my IC level and get exceed or outstanding every year. I have a ton of options vesting in September and October so I am guessing I may be on the list. It truly su-ks and the stress is unreal going through this year after year. I had always hoped to retire from Oracle, but i don't think that's possible anymore.
In case anyone from the media is reading this, I will confirm with the previous poster. O really is a sh-t show. Nobody left for support, installations. All the people who created content gone. All internal tools broken. Horrible.

There's been a leak to business insider that RIFs are coming. I suspect it'll be September, but the leak suggested later this month (August).

@OP The personal data check is happening for all folks. I love your attitude , it is an absolute sh-t show at O .Irrespective of what they do , people are leaving them in flocks , at least in Fusion Apps .
