For positions who were laid off (not VSP) there’s over a 3 week period we’re still employed. Are people attending meetings and continuing to participate as usual during this period? Curious how others are handling expectations around work and meetings during the transition including supervision calls?

@bh Good call out! That is exactly what they are; a bunch of sociopaths and psychos.
@a2 these people that make the decisions are sociopaths and psychos who are he-l bent on mind fu--ing everyone that’s left laid off VSP and still there. The way it was handled was the cruelest sh-t ever and I hope somehow they will pay for this.
@OP Honestly, my actual work is complete. I dislike to-do lists, so stuff gets checked off pretty quickly on my end. I've been canceling some of the calls that I lead because I do not have anything new to discuss and open tasks are still being managed effectively. If I keep the calls, people will ask me a ton of questions about my feelings regarding the RIF, which isn't related to work. For the meetings led by others, I join and stay on mute. I'm present just in case someone has a question, but I'm almost positive they are all wondering why I'm still attending meetings at all. LOL!
Do what you gotta do and fly under the radar until you’re done.
Be careful, this can affect your severence.
Do they have something in your agreement you have to maintain good standing within your team or something or not get severance? For the ones I know let go they are definitely not online all the time and are blowing off meetings. Don’t blame them either.
When I was in this situation before I did what I needed to to ensure they didn’t sc--w my severance or bonus. Bare minimum. My stupid boss who was staying tried to call me after hours. Blocked their number.
@OP what are they gonna do if you don’t join? Let you go?? I wouldn’t join and they shouldn’t except a 100% effort from anyone that was let go
