Total Compensation

Can you please share how much Technical Leaders (Grade 11 or Grade 12) earn in RTP? Salary range in NC seems to be: $187000.00 - $274,100.00

My brother earns $195K Base, 13% Annual Cash bonus, 6% 401K Match and no RSUs in his current job. What would be a strong offer to negotiate along with relocation?

I know few tech leads are paid base of $160K and 15% bonus and very few RSUs or almost no RSUs. All depends upon the team, revenues and how well connected you are with the upper management.

They will always try to lowball you and pay you bare minimum. You need to grow some B alls or ‘be a big girl’ to be in a position to negotiate and ask for fair compensation.

clueless ,under certified and low experience job pool it seems, I got 100k to sign and 50k over my last role plus another 60 k in stock. Its about showing your value, and experience. Its nice having millions , and watching everyone step on each other to kiss up, hopefully you can join me soon.

@b8 Is absolutely correct. People off the street we would try to get middle of zone 1 at hire. It keeps from having to put all of your merit in one place if they come in low. Not sure why people voted it down but I was a manager. I was not going to bring someone off the street above team members that have proven themselves. Other managers I couldn't vouch for. You won't get options through the door, best case is you get a small signing bonus. I can tell you I also walked from many that came back and wanted to negotiate when their skills were only sufficient but they had potential. Several had outstanding offers that I pulled because of this. Don't let the keyboard dipsh-ts make your stones bigger. You and the rest may be over rating your skills and abilities, IE your worth in the market place.

If your brother is at Cisco, he should be able to tell you the correct target bonus and 401k match.

RTP is an extremely low cost of living area. It doesn’t take much to live like a king there.

most opportunities posted have the range listed. I highly doubt the range is that wide for a technical leader, Sysco doesnt offer top end of ranges, you will likely get mid range and with incentivized with the bonus percentage based on the grade you're brought in as until you can show value.
