missing saving account payroll deduction

Did anyone notice that the last cycle saving account contribution didn't get credited to your sunlife account? Isn't this stuff supposedly regulated and a company could be penalized for error, like some type of interest/missing opportunity cost.

They had better ensure all savings‑plan contributions are fully updated. When funds are transferred to a LIRA, the balance must reflect the precise, correct amount. Issues like this occur when financial processes are managed by incompetent personnel -- such lapses are unacceptable, particularly during a period of local workforce reductions.

Another mess created by offshoring work to GBC’s and outsourcing to incompetent managed service providers.

@OP Not exactly shocked that Payroll botched this — consistency seems to be their only strength, and unfortunately it’s in the form of repeated errors.
