Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

I feel very sad for the paying customers

I can see them literally begging for help in the tickets but the Support teams just don't seem to care.

I am not sure what the right thing to do is

@OP

Any customer foolish enough to use Oracle gets what they deserve. Perhaps this will spur them on to better decision making in the future.

@b9 this will be the self fulfilling prophecy. Oracle is transforming into a cloud and AI hosting company. DB and software customers will clearly leave for better supported products and services. It will take a while because it is hard for the enterprise customers to transition.

If our customer decrease, we can find better balance between service staff resource number and service amount

They thought Ai could replace staff and Ai would talk with customers and resolve all their customer issues.

@OP Support teams are super short staffed right now after previous RIFs. With current head count, there’s no way possible Support teams can keep up with all the open tickets coming in. So i would rephrase your title to "LE & CEO office" does not care about customers.
