Once again, left 1/2 day, might even telecommute tomorrow, didn't update MOOSE, but my boss won't know, because they aren't here. I won't get in trouble but still getting paid. People get mad, but it's just because they are jealous that I am one of the boss's favorites

The days you go in doesn’t matter anymore. Nobody is looking at the presence report. I’ve been going in 2-3 days all year. Nobody says anything. Stop living in fear.

When I go in,I am plugged in at 5AM. I stay until 2PM. I do get the hairy eyeball from some when I leave. But hey they waltz in between 9-10 AM. So F em.

Everyone needs to do what the eff they want but get the job done. They can’t fire the entire company at once.
I often wondered when I see people leave at say, 1 or 2. Of course they badge out, for some reason. Perhaps they did arrive at the office at 5 or 6 AM, but I doubt it. Maybe the presence report will catch them, if their manager chooses to enforce it.
Along the lines of people not being there 8x5...At Bothell, I'd often go for a short walk around the data center around 10 AM. Monday-Thursday, there are cars parked all the way back to the creek, so I know the lot is at capacity. On Fridays, something magical happens. There are hardly any cars parked on the street. Did Friday become a WFH day and I just wasn't informed?
